ASTN Study Proposal
How to propose a study for ASTN assistance endorsement or support
To propose a study, please complete a Study Proposal Form and send it to the National Research Manager. Please ensure that you comply with ASTN policies on conflict of interest and naming the ASTN in association with your proposed study.
Your proposal will be read by Research Committee members over the following two weeks and will go to the next Research Committee meeting after that. Meeting dates for 2008 include 16th Jun, 11th Aug, and 14th Nov. If you are working to a short deadline for a special funding announcement, please contact the National Research Manager, so the Committee can plan around your timelines and hold an extra meeting if necessary.
The ASTN is interested to hear from any researchers who have ideas for multicentre studies. To discuss an idea for a study, please contact the National Research Manager or a member of the Research Committee.

While proposals can be fast-tracked and reviewed immediately to meet special funding deadlines, or where they are already fully developed, many undergo some development during review by the Research Committee.
